Androgynous...out of the box

The androgynous look with a little twist. Instead of wearing my classic white shirt (which every woman should have in her closet) with a pair of tuxedo pants, I preferred a salopette in black color. I completed my look with the ugly shoes we love to wear...my Birkenstocks. I know men hate them but we can't help wearing them all day long. 

I kept my makeup and accessories clean and simple (only used an eyeliner and red lipstic and 2 hand cuffs in gold and silver).

The Versatile Dress

I love this dress as it can be worn in many ways and in many different occassions. You can wear it all day long with your sneakers or ballerinas (a pair of white All Stars or a pair of Stan Smith's would be perfect), make a statement with a pair of army boots and later style it with high heel pumps, sexy sandals or booties. Wear a cardigan, a trench or even a wool jacket on top and you will make many heads turn...

Summer Shoes - My favorite pairs for S/S 2014 from MIGATO

Καλοκαίρι. Η θερμοκρασία ανεβαίνει, οι ρυθμοί γίνονται πιο χαλαροί και η διάθεσή μας για εκδρομές και βόλτες αυξάνεται. Αέρινα ρούχα, ελαφριά υφάσματα, χρωματιστά αξεσουάρ και ψάθινα καπέλα ντύνουν το καλοκαιρινό σκηνικό.

Τί γίνεται όμως με τα παπούτσια? Ποιά είναι τα κατάλληλα ώστε να αισθανόμαστε άνετες αλλά και να είμαστε μοντέρνες και εντυπωσιακές? Με τη βοήθεια της αγαπημένης μου εταιρείας MIGATO θα κάνουμε μία βόλτα στα hottest trends αυτού του Καλοκαιριού.

Ας ξεκινήσουμε από τα βασικά. Σανδάλια. Τα ancient greek sandals και τα gladiators είναι αναμφισβήτητα η νούμερα ένα τάση κάθε καλοκαίρι.  Beige και nude είναι οι κυρίαρχοι χρωματισμοί και άλλοτε μαύρα ή λευκά με straps και χρυσές λεπτομέρειες φοριούνται όλη μέρα με shorts, φορέματα, τζιν ή και μόνο με το μαγιώ σας. Φέτος οι λευκές rubber σόλες έκαναν την εμφάνισή τους και αμέσως έγιναν το must-have κομμάτι κάθε καλά ενημερωμένης fashionista. Ο funky σχεδιασμός της τρακτερωτής τους σόλας κάνει όλα σας τα outfits ξεχωριστά και το περπάτημά σας εξαιρετικά άνετο. Για όλες εσάς που δε μπορείτε να αποχωριστείτε το χρώμα, συνδυάστε τις γήινες αποχρώσεις με έντονο φούξια, κοραλί, τιρκουάζ και animal prints.

Δεύτερο απαραίτητο κομμάτι είναι οι πλατφόρμες. Ιδανικές για γυναίκες που δεν μπορούν να αποχωριστούν τα παπούτσια που τους προσθέτουν ύψος ούτε και στις καλοκαιρινές τους διακοπές αλλά και για όσες είναι καλεσμένες σε γάμους και βαφτίσεις σε νησιά. Μιας και δεν υπάρχει μεγαλύτερο στυλιστικό foul από γυναίκες που προσπαθούν να ισορροπήσουν σε 12-ποντα στα πλακόστρωτα δρομάκια των νησιών σου έχω τις πιο ωραίες πλατφόρμες για κάθε περίσταση για να επιλέξεις. Pastel, navy, espandrilles, με λάμψεις...you name it.

Για όσους μείνουν στην πόλη προτείνω σανδάλια με κορδόνια για τα νυχτοπερπατήματά τους σε royal blue ή σε μαύρο και nude mixed με animal print ή statement high heel sandals που σίγουρα θα κάνουν πολλά κεφάλια να γυρίσουν...

Blue vs Yellow - Featuring the MIGATO lace up sandals

A few days ago I received these gorgeous royal blue lace up sandals from MIGATO. I immediately took them of their box and put them on my feet. Beeing a customer of MIGATO for years, I wasn't surprised of them being extremely comfortable. The leather is very soft and their heel is of the proper hight, allowing me to wear them all day long feeling like I walk on flat shoes. As for their looks...I will let them do the talking!

Here I styled them with a total black look (all from ZARA) so that their color stands out. Waiting for your thoughts.

Reflection of Grace

The pre-Summer mood goes on...In this outfit I matched my pastel pleather skirt with a long blazer and uber sexy black sandals. The double pearl earings are my latest obsession and you can find many tutorials online to show you how to make a pair of your own! A simple top, a lunch bag, a pair of mirror sunnies and I am ready to go. Any thoughts?

Marble

The marble print skirt is one of the first things I bought during sales season! Loved its shape and legth from the first time I saw it. Here I matched it with a black sweater with lace details also from ZARA and over the knee boots from Sante. The pearl necklace is also from ZARA and the bag is from helenart bags.
