Pleats Please

I have told you in my previous post how much I love full skirts this year. This is a pleated full skirt I recently bought from ZARA and I really fell for it. I styled it with a navy cropped top and animal print sandals. Like it?
The rings are from Bershka, the belt from ZARA and the sunglasses Dolce & Gabbana.

Trend Alert - 20120914

Do it like Peter Pan. In versions ranging from oversized, prim and printed, collars are popping up everywhere and on everyone. Wear them over sweaters and monochrome t-shirts or if you are bold enough, dare to mix and match with prints. Detachable or not, a sophisticated collar will give a chic touch to your outfit. And if you still don't know how to do it, I'm sure you will find many inspiring ideas from Alexa Chung's outfits.
If you like drama, then a statement necklace is your answer. Many designer houses such as Lanvin and Dolce&Gabbana have embraced oversized, larger than life necklace. A trend that has been around for some years now this Fall/Winter is bolder then ever. Designers don't only recommend them over dark colors and simple lines, but combine them with lace, brocade and oversized earrings to create a theatrical result.  The look is eye-catching and is sure to make you the center of attention!

These boots are made for walking...

...but Not just what they'll do, since they could just as well be exhibits in a gallery or a museum of modern art. Boots are an essential piece for every womans Winter wardrobe. For Fall/Winter 2012/13 the designers did they're best to create statement pieces that are empowering yet wearable. These are the ones that stole my heart.
When Nicholas Kirkwood collaborates with Erdem the result can be nothing less than extraordinary. The designer who is famous for the architectural quality of his designs and his innovative use of materials worked miracles once again. The combination of the various prints and then the structured chunky geometric floating perplex heel is just heavenly.

In her shoes - Summer Edition

In January I had shared with you some of my favourite pairs of Winter shoes . Since I received some very flattering comments from my dear blogger friends regarding a pair of sandals I wore in my last post, I decided to show you some of my favourite summer shoes.

Midday...in Paris

I wish that title was true! I guess a Paris inspired wall is all the travel I'll be having this weekend!

Fine Art

I always thought that clothes are a form of art but this is truly wearing art in the literal sense.

Nailed it

It's a bit unorthodox to start a blog with a post like this. One might expect a famous designer's catwalk or at least a suggestion of an outfit.
This Fall/Winter I have five new sweethearts. And what if a woman's heart can only belong to one man, this can't be true for lacquers.
The first heartbeats begun with the acquisition of chanel's three musketeers. Their names: Peridot, Graphite and Quartz. Until one day my doorbell rung and two new crushes appeared before me. I had been expecting them for a couple of months. Platinum and Stromboli were finally here. These five metallic shades will frame and accentuate every outfit for the days to come. This Fall/Winter my heart belongs to metal...
